San Juan Country Club offers a full eighteen-hole golf course, aquatics center including full size swimming pool and wading pool, fitness facility, fine dining, sports bar, banquet facilities and social member events in a family-friendly environment

*  Dress Code and Etiquette – General Policy – The Dress Code Policy for the main clubhouse is “Country Club Casual” as described below.  The  The policy applies to all adults and children, including both members and  Guests.  Members are responsible for the 
    attire and deportment of their children and guests.                     
*  Bogey’s and San Juan Room:                              
   Ladies: blouses, skirts, slacks, or dresses.                              
   Men: long pants, and collared shirts.                     
*  Men’s Grill, Ladies Lounge, Locker Room patio, Birdies:                              
   Acceptable apparel as outlined in the Golf and Racquet Sports areas is permitted.
*  Exceptions to the Dress Code Policy may be made for special or private events as determined and announced by club management.
*  Enforcement of the Dress Code Policy:  Please be advised that all matters pertaining to the Clubhouses, Pool, and Racquet Sports areas are under the authority of the House Committee. The House Committee shall enforce the foregoing rules, and the House           Committee entrusts the Club Staff with the same enforcement authority, in the Staff’s capacity as agents of the House Committee.
   Members must understand the foregoing rules are neither all-inclusive nor dispositive, due to the subjective nature of fashion and personal tastes.  The House Committee reserves the right to judge Members’ dress code decisions on a case by case basis.
   Further, the House Committee insist that Members respect any dress code decisions Club Staff render, and Members are reminded to direct any questions to the Manager on Duty.
   Finally, we ask that our Members assume the responsibility to inform their Guests as to the contents of the Dress Code so that it does not fall solely upon the Staff to do so once the guests arrive at San Juan Country Club.

In addition, fun, family and sport are what we're here for!

      San Juan Country Club offers an 18 hole , par 71 golf course set within the San Juan Basin. Enjoy a gorgeous view of the high desert scenery while playing a relaxing game and spending time with friends and family.

      PRACTICE
      Our practice facilities are second to none in Northwest New Mexico. A beautifully manicured putting green, chipping green, and practice area are available for our members and their guests, nearly year-round. 

      GOLF SHOP
      Merchandise, lessons, tournament sign-up information and attentive service welcome San Juan Country Club members. Our staff welcomes the opportunity to outfit our members, teach the technical aspects of the golf swing or assist with the mental preparation necessary to excel at golf. Forgot your golf clubs? No need to worry, we have Titleist rental clubs available in shop. 

      DRESS CODE
      The Dress Code standards are in place to ensure the level of enjoyment you receive while visiting the Club. They are important to us and have been established to compliment your overall experience at the Club.  It   is a member’s responsibility to inform their guest of these standards prior to their visit to the Club.  Our Staff is here to answer any questions you have about the dress code, and they have been directed to gently remind those who accidentally forget or are uniformed of the standards. Management reserves the right to define “appropriate” attire.  We hope that the following guidelines will assist you in making your time spent at the Club as comfortable and pleasurable as possible. 
      Golf course and practice areas
      a.   All members, family members, and guests shall always be neat and wear appropriate attire.
      b.   Men: a mock, Henley, or collared shirt is acceptable.  Shorts, if worn, will be traditional golf shorts.
      c.   Ladies:  attire will conform with current fashion and LPGA Tour standards.  Skirts, skorts, shorts, leggings, golf dresses or slacks.  Collared or open neck shirts of a polo style.  Sleeveless shirts, as designed for golf must have a collar, crew neck, or high neck.
      d.   All golfers: Blue jeans or denim is allowed.  Denim that is frayed, torn, or bleached is not permitted.
      e.   Unacceptable apparel for all golfers: work-out apparel, tank tops, tank tops with spaghetti straps, halter tops, crop tops, cut-off shorts, swimwear, t-shirts, overalls, torn or ripped denim, clothing with large brand names, images, slogan, or logos.
      f.    Children 11 and under are exempt from the dress code.  Parents are responsible for ensuring that all children 11 and under are appropriately and neatly dressed while on the premises. 

  • Aquatics
    • The pool at San Juan Country Club is the place to be Memorial Day through Labor day. Offering a fill size pool, wading pool, locker rooms and full-service grill it's a gathering place for all members of the family to enjoy. 

      Club activities and programming change each year, but often include water aerobics classes, kids camp, movie night at the pool and our annual Cardboard Regatta. 

      REFRESHMENTS
      Need a little refreshment? Well... you never have to leave the pool. Just flag down one of our amazing staff for a menu, place your order, and be served poolside. We have everything from sandwiches & burgers to ice cream or even a cocktail. 

      POOL REGULATIONS
      The pool is for the mutual enjoyment of all members and their guests, these policies are to ensure that the club provides both a safe and enjoyable pool experience for all. We ask that you ensure your family and guests all support these guidelines as outlined.

      *Members and their guests must register upon entry prior to swimming.
      *Only small flotation devices are permitted in pool. Floatation devices are not a substitute for parent supervision.
      *The wading pool is for children unable to swim, and only when accompanied by an adult.
      *Eating and drinking will not be allowed between the edge of the pool and the drainage gate.
      *Outside food & beverages are not permitted at San Juan Country Club
      *Running, pushing and rough play will not be allowed in the pool area.
      *All guests must be accompanied by an active member.

      Whether you are in search of a comfortable atmosphere to grab lunch after a round of golf, a personal setting to enjoy a special occasion, or planning a memorable once-in-a-lifetime gathering, San Juan Country Club offers a full-service experience. Design a business event in a more formal setting, play a game of cards with your favorite friends in a quiet area, or follow your favorite sports team and watch tournaments on the numerous televisions in our vibrant sports style grill.

      While dining, members and their guests enjoy lush green views of the course and mesas surrounding our beautiful clubhouse. Want to take the night off from using your kitchen?... Our staff can prepare your meal to go!
      Our culinary team creates flavorful, health-conscious, and seasonal menu items to delight any member or guest that may join us.

         MEET THE CHEF: Heath Van Riper

      Chef Heath Van Riper has over 24 years of culinary experience, including Sous Chef at Scalo Northern Italian Grill and Executive Chef at Prairie Star; both in Albuquerque, NM. During his time in Albuquerque, he maintained a consistent "4-star" rating at the Prairie Star as well as winning 2006 Executive Chef of the Year from the National Restaurant Association. Heath developed his love for the culinary arts in Lander, Wyoming as a young child watching his mother and grandmother create beautiful and delicious meals completely from scratch. On his journey through life, Heath moved to Farmington as a young child and graduated from Farmington High School before graduating from CNM in Albuquerque. In 2008 he returned to Farmington, bringing his lovely wife Tessa and two children, Madilynn and Kolby to take over as Executive Chef at San Juan Country Club.

      The following items are inappropriate in any section of the Clubhouse (locker rooms excluded), regardless of gender.
      *See-through fabric without proper lining
      *Bare midriffs
      *Torn, sloppy, or un-tailored clothing and footwear
      *Bare feet
      *Gym attire
      *Tank tops, tube tops, halter tops, or midriff tops
      *Collarless t-shirts
      *Swimsuits or swim attire
      *Cut-offs
      *Excessively large or inappropriate logos on clothing
      *Micro-mini skirts (with exception of appropriate tennis skirts used as a crossover for golf)

      Bogey’s and San Juan Room:

      Racquet Ball Court

      Our NEW Racquet Sports Complex opened June 5, 2021 and features two tennis courts overlaid with four pickleball courts. Tennis and Pickleball Instruction are available to members of San Juan Country Club. 
      Our Pickleball Instructor Keith Bishop demonstrates the use of our new SimonX pickleball thrower.
