Core Values

San Juan Country Club is committed to the following core principles:
- Providing a gathering place where friendships are created and relationships flourish
- Continually improve upon the San Juan Country Club experience and offer the best in golf, dining, and amenities in the Four Corners
- Addressing strategies based upon integrity and genuine compassion for all member and staff
- Embracing change while building upon our rich heritage and honored traditions

San Juan Country Club is Farmington’s selection for fine recreation and dining. It was started in 1952 by local businessmen, who wanted a Country Club with a clubhouse and a golf course. The first planning meetings were held at McCormick Elementary School with approximately 35 in attendance. Lifetime membership and assorted fundraisers were held to build the clubhouse and complete the first nine holes. Some area families purchased the lifetime memberships for $1250 even though they were not guaranteed the club would be a success.

San Juan Country Club Code of Conduct and Ethics

San Juan Country Club has established this Code of Conduct and Ethics (Code) to serve as a guideline of best practices for the conduct of its members and guests.
The Code offers a set of standards to serve as a general guide to the way to behave, dress and act as ladies and gentlemen.
It does not provide a set of rules that prescribe how members and guests should act in all situations.
Specific applications of the Code must consider the context in which it is being considered and the possibility of conflicts among the stated principles and standards.
It is incumbent upon SJCC members to be knowledgeable and diligent regarding the proper decorum expected in our country club environment.
San Juan Country Club is a premier, full-service, family-oriented, private country club dedicated to the enjoyment of our Members, their families, and Guests.
With these goals in mind, please permit the following rules to aid you in determining what attire is proper for San Juan Country Club.
The following items are inappropriate in any section of the Clubhouse (locker rooms excluded), regardless of gender.
